Yes, the photo has nothing to do with the actual post. I thought I’d start with a laugh.

As I haven’t seen anything yet here on the subject of the “professional shitposter” on Facebook, I thought I’d take a chance.

Apparently some random dude wrote on Facebook that he is a cousin of one of the election fraud (aka hush money) jurors and posted the day before the verdict that Trump would be found guilty then turned around and stated that he was just kidding and was a professional shitposter (if he’s professional, does he get paid?) Judge Merchan has sent a letter to all lawyers involved about the post.

In the meantime, MAGAs all over X/Twitter have been going apeshit, saying this means a mistrial. I don’t know about y’all, but I truly can’t believe that even Juror No. 2, who said that they got their news from Truth Social, would be stupid enough to share what the verdict would be. (Yes, yes, I tend to think the better of mankind. Sue me.) IANAL, so if there is a lawyer out there, do you think this could lead to a mistrial?

I also couldn’t figure out how to copy/paste a screenshot from X/Twitter but just search #mistrial.
