Do you believe Donald Trump will ever serve a prison sentence? [1]

Donald Trump has become the first former American president to be convicted of felony crimes. With a total of 34 felony counts related to falsifying business records to conceal a hush money payment during the 2016 election. He faces sentencing on July 11, just before the Republican National Convention.

Each count Trump was convicted of carries a potential maximum sentence of four years. However, due to New York’s legal constraints, the cumulative sentence for these Class E felonies could be capped at 20 years.

Despite the serious nature of his convictions, Trump seems to continue to get passes that average citizens would not get. He’s been found in contempt of court ten times over this trial, has violated gag orders from the judge before and after the conviction, may have paid off witnesses, and still faces other cases aside from this one. Trump and his team are obviously going to appeal this ruling.
