Another Successful Event Supporting Rural Democrats [1]

Hi Everyone:

I wanted to give folks a quick recap of the Union County Meet and Greet/Fundraiser event and since the State College Pride Parade was great, as usual.



I went out to the Progress Centre event to support Denise Maris (PA HD-76) and Nick Jacobson (PA HD-85) in their campaigns for PA House! If you missed out on their event, you can invest in their campaigns here. The event was a success, raising hundreds of dollars for each candidate and resulting in some volunteers signing up to support their campaigns. Both candidates got to meet with people they did not know, which is a key ingredient to the success of any campaign: meeting new people!

As usual with these events, we did some community good as well. We collected many bags of canned goods to be donated to the local food bank! The events with Progress Centre are not just about supporting candidates, they’re about strengthening communities.
