Howard Fineman has moved on to the next big assignment [1]

I had not seen this reported on Kos but it is somewhat of a sad day for all of us who pursued Journalism all these man years..

I saw that earlier today, Howard Fineman had passed from pancreatic cancer at the age of 75.

For many years, he was with Newsweek and then later the Huffington Post.

He worked at the Courier Journal in the early 70’s and I remember reading his bylines on stories about the environment and strip mining before he moved on to the CJ’s Washington Bureau.

He was a solid reporter who never sought the limelight of the cable news world and social media. He has interviewed all kinds of political folk.

His kind of reporting will be missed.
