The Ballad of Stinky Pete - A Trump Parody Giveaway [1]

This past month I gave myself a challenge: What can I do with a collection of fun faux courtroom sketches and satirical gags based on the Trump Hush Money/Financial Crimes trial? The answer: create a much longer book that takes the satire and story to a whole different level.



With the exception of the Pi comic book I created a few decades ago, this new book holds the record for my fastest production. In just 1.5 months, I managed to turn it around. The absurdity of Trump and his minions' actions practically wrote the first half of the book, while the second half evolved into a hard-boiled tragicomedy that I'm still in awe of writing.



I'm thrilled to announce that the book is a 72-page collection of illustrations and story that I'm truly proud to publish. I've received the printer's proof for the 8 1/2" x 11" format, and it looks stunning. I'm eagerly looking forward to the moment when I can start shipping these out to people, sharing this unique piece of art with the world.

Of course, now comes the real challenge: promotion and distribution. It may be carried on Amazon and Goodreads at the moment, but that in no way guarantees visibility and sales. Thankfully, I purchased my own ISBN numbers, which allow me to sell this book to indie book and comic stores that aren't reached by Amazon. I suspect this project will give me a good education on book distribution.
