Wow, did the CEO Roundtable invite TFG to praise him or to bury him? [1]

CNBC has a story here that made me glad I didn’t express the conclusion I jumped to earlier this week. I thought the sign that they were meeting both with Biden and TFG was to hedge their bets. Well, if they were, I think they just picked their chips up from the table.

The headline from the article was:

CEOs at Trump meeting: Ex-president ‘meandering’ and ‘doesn’t know what he’s talking about’

They also made comments like “ [Trump] was remarkably meandering, could not keep a straight thought [and] was all over the map”.

Surprise, they indicated TFG thought he was walking into a group of supporters and treated it that way. Oops — “These were people who I think might have been actually predisposed to [Trump, but] actually walked out of the room less predisposed”.

One other note that should shock no one — the CEOs indicated he never actually indicated how he expected to achieve all the great things he was going to do for them.

Boy, is TFG going to tear into them for failing to say he was the greatest *resident ever and the country would go deeper into hell (you know we are already there, just listen to TFG, he will tell you) if he isn’t elected.

Maybe these folks are willing to understand that he has no intent to help anyone but himself. If TFG has managed to make at least a few of these folks uncomfortable, maybe there is hope for them.

Of course, they weren’t all that brave. All the quotes above were from people who require anonymity to speak to the reporter.
