Music of 1971 [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.'] Date: 2024-06-16 Here is the link to my Music of 1971 diary that I posted on the 22nd of January, 2023: www.dailykos.com/… Feel free to go there, and post more songs from there, into the comments here. Feel free to post any song you like in the comments. So moody, with such a great bass track. Such a nice happy love song. “Let’s take a lifetime to say, ‘I knew you well.’” “We’ve got to find a way to bring some lovin’ here today.” My parents were both born in 1924, on farms in central Missouri. The farm where my mother grew up, was the place our family always visited, every summer, and every Christmas, from at least 1960, when I was 5 years old, to about 1972, when I was 17. So, this song makes me think of that farm, and my roots, as they say, in Hickory County, Missouri. From the comments of that previous diary: Outstanding. Aaaah, so smooth and nice. “What I’ve got they used to call the blues.” Fun! (If you ignore the alligators, and just hear the notes!) So nice. Such a nice wedding song. So smooth, so thoughtful. Such a great introduction. Then the actual song is great, as well! Sort of like hard rock, but Moody Blues style. Rock and Roll! Ha! Okay, it is getting late. Here is the link to that other music diary, again: www.dailykos.com/… Feel free to post comments, hugs, music, anything uplifting, in the comments. Hugs!
