Best Thing I've Ever Seen On Corporate TV [1]

Chris Hayes of MSNBC does a great job of revealing the rot in the Bowman vs. Latimer primary race in Westchester County, New York. Outside groups are pouring tons of money into the race on behalf of Latimer. This is already the most expensive primary contest in the history of the US House Of Representatives— upwards of $20 million has been spent. In addition, Hillary Clinton has given her endorsement to Latimer, as he can be trusted to further the agenda of the mainstream Democrats, on the Israel / Gaza issue in particular. Hayes makes the excellent point that this situation is made possible by the godawful SCOTUS decision known as ‘Citizen’s United.’

This seems like the kind of thing that should be happening on the Republican side, and is an embarrassment to the Democratic Party. Watching big special interest money attack a popular African-American incumbent is beyond disgusting. I don’t know if Bowman can overcome the headwinds, but I’d love to see him pull off a win.
