The United States Supreme Court has taken sides and it has not chosen democracy. A candidate for the presidency of The United States of America cannot be granted the sovereignty of a monarch by the highest court in the land in a respectful silence!

I I know: this is posted to Daily Kos whose readers aren’t known for letting real news sneak up on them; that it has probably been written about and mulled over in comments; and that it is obvious. (I have a personal aversion to the word unprecedented , having been struck about the head with it one time too many — or I’d say that outright as well.)

Still it has to be said.

November, ladies and gentlemen- we have to overwhelm the plots and sub-plots, and disrupt the red carpet Justices have set in place.
