Va.5th here Good was piggybacking on the trump name on polling site placards at my precinct polling site. I think good took Pittsylvania county. Repubs could nominate and win with the devil hisself in the fifth. The last congressman they had did a book on mating habits of the Yeti. We dems scratch our head and wonder how they pull it off time after time but we forget just how racist the 5th is. Heck just drive on 58 and swing north on 29 and look at the giant flagpoles with the confederate stars and bars fluttering in the wind. Danville has a new casino and maybe that will loosen up the old guard and a better more inclusive day will arrive. Until then we will endure and wait. By the way in my precinct 1 voter at least made an educated choice on our 3 candidates for the democratic nomination. All were good people and as far as I know didn’t take no ppp loans and abide as decent human beings. Our winner was Gloria Witt from around Lynchburg and I’ll be supporting her with time, a little bit of money and good thoughts. No need to put up a yard sign. The kluxers would just steal it or use it for beer bottle target practice.
