We do not know what Republican Party Members are saying behind closed doors. My point is; they may well be saying something like; "we now control a sufficient level of power that Democrats, what they say and do, is completely irrelevant". The 2024 election is already over. There will be a legal matter calling into question the winner of the Presidential race. It will be an emergency matter for the Supreme Court to resolve. It has already been decided how our Justices will rule. There is nothing that Democrats can do about it. It is over and the days of this being a representative democracy are now behind us. Democracy may have worked well in the past, but it no longer works for us.
