Women's Rights: Protecting Private Health Information [1]

With autonomy under attack across the country, it’s more important than ever to protect our reproductive health information stored in Fem Tech data apps (i.e. Flo Health). I wrote a piece of legislation that would classify this information as Protected Health Information and- therefore- give serious consequences for selling or sharing, among other levels of protection.



With highly-restrictive states beginning to criminalize abortion (and threatening to use this information) in prosecutions, it’s vital that we protect location and reproductive information.



We just can’t afford to undervalue the importance of this seat. Florida needs progress.
