Last Presidential Election Cycle, This Almost Killed Me [1]

On 29 September, for the first time ever, I sober blogged the Presidential debates.

Sharon* did not want me drinking that night.

It did not go well. It nearly killed me.

Before that, I had a wing man, my son, who watched me to ensure that I did not suffer from alcohol poisoning, but he has grown up and moved out.

As to live blogging a Republican debate, That Amount of Alcohol Would Kill Me ……… and 3 Elephants ……… and 2 Blue Whales……… and Entire the Crew of the Starship Enterprise.

So there is another Presidential debate tomorrow, actually 2 if you count the one between RFK, Jr. and his brain worm, but I do not count that. In any case, it seems to me that watching the debates sober is a lot like Mr. Spock conversing with the Medusan Ambassador Kollos sans visor. (Apoligies to Ambassador Kollos for comparing him to Donald Trump) On the other hand, massive amounts of alcohol can kill me, and I have 5 gallons of apple cider sitting in a carbouy clarifying, and about a quart of a chocolate pepper cordial based on the oldest European recipe for chocolate, in the house, so lethal levels of alcohol consumption is also possible. So I want rules for a debate drinking game that won’t kill me. For example, if I take a shot every time that: Trump lies

Trump sounds deranged.

The moderators allow a blatant falsehood from the Trumpster Fire to go unchallenged.

Trump soils himself. There is a pretty good chance that I will be in a coma shortly after opening statements. So, what rules can I adopt to keep my drinking at a level where my sweat is not a fire hazard?
