Why is Daily Kos still on X?

Below is part of the teaser from the DKos live election coverage: “We'll begin our live coverage at 9 PM ET when polls close in Colorado and New York. We'll be liveblogging the results here and also covering the returns closely on X.”

Why duplicate the coverage from this blog on that platform? The two reputable cable networks covered the June primaries in real time, its not that X has a monopoly on news coverage, yet. I realize X has a lot of reach, especially among self-appointed “influencers”. I realize our messaging has to reach beyond our “silos.” But why follow a blog when it is on X anyway? Why promote the X platform?
