Dead Donkey on the Side of the Road - With a Pacemaker [1]

Many years ago, when traveling by car, on vacation somewhere, my kids were playing a road-trip Bingo sort of game, looking for stuff like a “Blue Truck in parked in a drive way” or a “Billboard for McDonalds”. Having a long way to travel, being bored, they started to define very creative, overly specific, likely impossible Bingo items. One eventual item to find was a “Dead Donkey on the side of the road. With a pacemaker.” This item became a running joke — which is still mentioned from time to time by my now-adult children.

I always found this meaningless jargon an entertaining memory, never imagining I might have use for it someday. But it dawned on me this morning, this silly (or maybe morbid) object could elevate in stature as I would quickly vote for a "Dead Donkey on the side of the road, with a pacemaker" for president if my only other option were the Orange Felon.
