Joe Biden showed up, despite being sick, and why Donald Trump sank his chances to win the election [1]

For all you naysayers who are posting that Joe Biden failed in this debate, I have to disagree strongly with you. Turns out that Biden’s hoarse voice and not getting his point across has a valid reason: Summer cold. I turn 74 years old in July, and I just got over a summer cold, and yea, it kicked my ass, and I am sure that Biden, being a decade older than me had an even worse time of it than I did. Being the trooper that he is, he showed up. Yea, I know, I know, he sounded like crap, but did manage to get his point across, even though he looked horrible in doing so. His stutter didn’t help either, but he has had that his entire life.

Now for the good news: Donald Trump managed to pull defeat out of the jaws of victory. Yes, he won very bigly for his base, but he needs much more than his base to win this election. What counts are the independents, and when they heard Trump refusing to say that he will respect the election results, when they heard him brag that he could end the Israeli conflict before taking office, when they heard him say that helping Ukraine was a losing proposition, when they heard his obvious lies and deceit, do you believe for an instant that Trump won them over? If so, I’ve got something to sell you. It’s called the Astrodome. I’ll be more than happy to take your money.

Donald Trump has told his Proud Boys many times to stand by. If the American people are willing to do the same, It’s over for Trump. All you need to do is vote. There are more of us than them, but a defeatist attitude that Biden blew it, and therefore not voting, will do nothing more than hand the reins of government over to a convicted felon who only gives a damn about himself. We are better than that, and because we ARE better, let’s send Trump packing for good. Stand by to vote, to volunteer to drive others to the polls, and do whatever it legally takes to end this MAGA charade. Once again, there are more of us than there are of them. Let’s show up and take this country back in Roevember.
