Musings for Friday - I'm With the Stutterer in Chief. Why? Because Sanity. And, I Stutter Too. [1]

For all the Democratic Biden haters, last night gave them the ammo they were looking for. I’m looking at you Chris Hayes, Alex Wagner and Joy Reid (I was watching MSNBC, but not for long after those three.) Also they came out on Xitter, Threads and other social media.

CNN and their no fact checking or making Trump answer their questions presented an extremely flawed format didn’t help anyone.

www.threads.net/... I like Dana and Jake but they're not "moderating" anything. CNN could've literally just flashed questions on a screen, started a countdown timer, and muted/unmuted the appropriate mics.

I’m 14 years younger than Biden and besides being a stutterer, I’m also absent-minded. So when I get excited not only do I stutter, I misspeak, because I’ve lost the word I was going to use. That isn’t an age thing, I’ve been this way since I was a child. It just is. I have a neighbor who is so used to it, he finishes words for me.

I generally don’t get colds, but I do get sinus infections with PND (post nasal drip). The PND causes laryngitis, the symptoms ranging from raspiness to complete loss of voice.

So. What's the point of explaining my personal history? Expectations. My expectations (or handicap if you will) are different. I’m not perfect. I don’t expect Biden to be perfect. Unlike these ageist and stutterer bigots, I don’t expect Biden to be a candidate from central casting who’s eloquent in his speech. It’s not his speech that I’m interested. It’s how he’s going to govern.



I expect a second Biden term to be very similar to his first. And if we manage to give him a Democratic majority in both houses, I expect a lot more.

However, if the ageist manage to get Biden replaced on the ticket, be prepared to see the first felon elected to the White House. The disarray it would cause would be devastating. Not just for the election, but the country, and as a result of what would happen here, the impact would be felt worldwide.

If Trump were to win, Putin would finish his conquest of Eastern Europe. China would move on Taiwan. North Korea would move into South Korea. And that’s just for starters. Domestically? Project 2025 would become a reality.

So Biden had a bad night. So the fuck what. Grow up.
