The Narrative We Need to Push: EVERYTHING TRUMP SAID WAS A DAMNED LIE [1]

Gawd DAMN am I in a fighting mood. I thought I was determined to win before. I’m REALLY determined to win now. Let me tell ya a thing or two:

--THE POST-DEBATE NARRATIVE IS USUALLY MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE DEBATE ITSELF. Al Gore did a great job in the first 2000 debate, imo. But then the “pundits” all declared he had done badly, and Bush’s lies and stumbles were ignored. The message is clear:

SEIZE THE NARRATIVE, AND HIT IT AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. THE MESSAGE IS SIMPLE: EVERYTHING TRUMP SAID WAS A DAMNED LIE.

--DEMOCRATS DO FAR TOO MUCH HAND-WRINGING AND WORRYING. I hate everything the Republican Party stands for, but I’ll say this: they get behind their candidate, even a piece of human excrement like Trump. We need commitment here, not second guessing. In 1968 I saw Democrats who didn’t vote (or who wasted their vote) and as a result Nixon won by the skin of his teeth. We all know how that turned out. So I say this:

DEMOCRATS, CLOSE RANKS AND GO ON THE ATTACK.

I’m in it to win it. How about you?
