Yes, Joe Biden is still OLD. Trump is still a lying, convicted felon with delusions of grandeur. [1]

So there was a “debate” last night.

Joe Biden looked and sounded like an old man.

Joe Biden is 81 years old.

Joe Biden had a cold and was on cold medicine, as an 81 year old man, that made him hoarse and maybe a bit fuzzy headed… FOR A FEW HOURS.

Donald Trump, on the other hand, is a lying, convicted felon who ON THE REGULAR spews crazy nonsense like this:

We aren’t getting a new candidate folks, the states have filing deadlines which will have ALL PASSED by the time the Democratic Convention happens in August.

I do have to ask, when you are on stage with another person and you’re both being asked the same questions, and one of you just spouts nonsense and made up crazy shit and won’t even attempt to answer the questions, and you keep trying to answer the questions AND trying to push back against the lunatic on stage with you, how is that going to look? Not good, not for anyone.

But it was just two hours.

Joe Biden has been President for over 3 years now, and how has he done in those years?

Stopped the economy from going off a cliff during the Pandemic, after Trump spent over a year LYING TO THE WORLD about how COVID 19 was a “hoax”.

Joe Biden got Congress to pass bills that have stabilized the economy and helped the nation survive the shutdown of the country, and resulted in the lowest Unemployment rate in a half century.

By any metric, the Joe Biden Administration has been the most successful administration in my lifetime, and I’ll be 63 in August.

But a whole host of people what to just throw all of that away over a two hour stint on a stage with a endlessly lying, megalomaniac who told the world that he wants to be a Dictator on Day One of a second term in Office:

The world is not coming to an end. Joe Biden is our candidate and you can bet your ass that voting for OLD OLD OLD Joe Biden is still the better goddamned choice than voting for the corrupt CONVICTED FELON who already tried to steal two elections and got away with it once!

Stop wetting yourselves about how that TWO HOURS is the sign of the coming of the end of the world. It isn’t.

Start gearing up for a summer of convincing the self-identified 40% or more of the country’s voters that a really old guy with a stutter in tense moments is the best choice — because the only alternative is the asshole who locked up LITTLE KIDS in dog cages and stole them away from their parents because he, like the rest of the unhinged conservatives, is terrified of the day when the WHITE PEOPLE in this country are no longer the largest group of Americans (who will be a lot of shades of brown and black).
