Biden can't 'save' America but he CAN beat a vile, illiberal, anti-constitutional 'Trumpist' agenda [1]

Can Biden Still Save America?

Why the GOP and others have not long demanded that Trump drop out is a shameful question ignored. I am as strongly for Biden now as I was on the day before the 'non-debate' which was functionally a set up. To have debate moderators without any responsibility or accountability for fact checking was an easy give away to Trump. All CNN needed was an AI computer asking random questions.

But I am also not in any denial that Biden's start was especially atrocious though he did get far better and more powerful engaged later on. It's unfortunate that none of this made anybody's 'highlight' reels. And whomever prepped Biden for the debate anticipated that which was perfectly predictable very poorly and well overdid the effort.

Whether the debate went down the tubes or not, I think we need to stop trying to cast Biden as America's democratic political 'savior.' The only place this is relevant would be for discussion in a political science classroom. It is not a priority for voters Biden also cannot compete in this way with the child 'god,' Trump. But he can directly compete with the agenda being wrought on America by Trump, his operatives, sponsors, and allies.

Biden needs to campaign on that which matters starting with and prioritizing reproductive care and health and its future; the huge numbers of jobs he's created (Joe = Jobs), resources for families, public schools, his successful infrastructure bill, Trump's brutal intent of forced deportation of many millions of immigrants (that about all are from South of the border and that about all have brown skin is not a coincidence), putting a foot on the so called ‘Project 2025.’ There is so damn much.

Above all, Democrats need to stop their whining and suffering and get behind Biden and Biden as our candidate unconditionally and forcefully.

The partisan New York Times and Sulzberger can collectively go to hell. Calls to change candidates at this late date from within the Democratic Party, even if it were feasible, are irresponsible and reckless The only thing the DNC has been historically good at is pulling defeat from the jaws of victory. To lose the White House, and to lose it especially to Trump who is a front for a vile and violent anti-constitutional agenda, cannot happen
