Biden needs to heed the Ruth Bader Ginsberg lesson. [1]

Biden has been a great POTUS … unfortunately, most Americans don’t know it. A big part of a President’s job is SELLING his policies and his successes to the American people and Biden is unable to do that at this stage of his life. Biden maybe ‘with-it’ mentally, but he is becoming feeble physically and vocally and that’s impeding his ability to ‘sell’ his policies. We shouldn’t have to be on ‘pins and needles’, fearing disaster every time our candidate has a public appearance.

We have another option, mainly a deep bench of great Dems ready to be POTUS, including our VP.

It’s a given that Democrats are handicapped by a MSM that kowtows to Republican whining about media bias. Republicans have been ‘working the refs’ for decades with great success. The result being that Democrats are held to a much higher standard than Republicans … we couldn’t run a candidate with the baggage that trump has. Proof; the NYT’s running an editorial about how Biden should ‘drop out’ over a ‘bad’ debate performance, when trump has 34 felony convictions, 54 felony charges pending, owes millions for his fraudulent business practices, led an insurrection against our government, two impeachments, etc, etc, etc. and they have not called for trump to ‘drop out’.

It IS appalling, but it is ... what it is.

Biden needs to preserve his legacy as a great POTUS by bowing out. Ruth Bader Ginsberg was a great Supreme Court justice, but because she didn’t retire in a timely manner after serious medical issues, she was replaced by a conservative which resulted in dire consequences for women and the entire country. I partially blame RBG for the fall of Roe, I don’t want to blame Biden for the fall of our democracy. Biden shouldn’t let his ego be the guide, RBG did and her legacy and the country are worse because of it.

Biden can’t do the job that we need him to do right now … which is to campaign effectively and WIN this election. The stakes are too high to take a chance that voters will choose ‘old and maybe competent’ over corrupt and crooked.
