It’s only July. Polls mean relatively little until after labor day

People have an unbelievably short memory. As long as Biden comes out strong in the Fall, people won’t remember what happened in the Summer and everyone likes a comeback kid as well.

Trump has a large base but not large enough to win the electoral vote without adding a significant number of voters. While he has certainly energized his base, no evidence that he has grown it significantly

This contest has always been more about how unpopular Trump is than how popular Biden is and Trump is if anything more unpopular now than he was in 2020

Although we can’t rely on it, it’s all possible that abortion stance may sink the Republican party with Trump along with it.
