Hey yinz let's stop smelling our own farts here on KOS! [1]

Hi Friends,

I'm a little dismayed over some of the reactions I've been hearing on this site. The recent calls for Biden to step aside has elicited a fierce backlash against many posters of good intentions. Moreover, the threats of flagging and insinuations of Russian allegiance is petty and insulting. Exploring thoughts and having conversations is the purpose of an online community that shares similar beliefs.

I have never done anything but vigorously support Biden and denounce Trump amongst non politically declared associates. When questioned by a colleague as to whether Biden could perform the job I assured him that his cabinet would invoke the 25th while Trump's sycophants would allow him to act on his psychosis. I've assured my waiving friends and family that Biden is fine and that his performance is reflective of a career filed with gaffes and hindered by a speech impediment.

However, on this site amongst folks I know will make the poper choice in November I want to be able to express my concerns, wishes, and thoughts without insults or my intentions being called into question. Furthermore, information from nearly every news source is being lambasted as biased or nonfactual. I'm the first to agree quality journalism has been on the decline, but just because an editorial doesn't support your opinion does not mean it is without merit.

We can't become Maga labeling all nonsupportive sources as fake news and casting out dissenting voices as DINOs. If you don't agree with an opinion can't simply saying "I don't agree" suffice? Everything is becoming sus on KOS, polls, journalism, and divergent opinions. If yinz cast out the rest of us then you'll just be smelling your own farts instead of making us smell your farts while we make you smell our farts. Doesn't a big diverse fart party smell better than a smaller fart party birthed of farts from all the same foods?

Anyway love yinz all!
