Instead of a step down for Biden, why not a step aside in order to help the intern? Harris/Biden [1]

Since the 22nd Amendment only applies to Presidents, should he so choose, might not the best option for Biden be to run for vice-President? Alternately, he can win the race for a job that he might not truly adore anymore and step down, step aside, and wherever he damn well pleases, it appears.



He could go on to do what he does best while providing advice and counsel to the President without the pressures of the Office. The Bidens and the Buttigieges could spend their summers together sharing ice cream on trains. Just imagine the possibilities, Joe!

And while I can’t recall much about his first vice-Presidential term…as not spotlighting oneself has come to be somewhat implicit in the job title…is Mike Pence not as close a living specimen as one might hope for when wondering at a dictionary definition of the word “milquetoast”…what I do remember was him standing up for the least of his brothers when it was important without the boss’ nod. Oh yeah, and contrary to his good old fashioned Catholic learnin’ as well…y’all remember what he did? He came out in full support of the Queer community when a lot of otherwise decent people were afraid to. Then he did some real work as vice-President to help his boss evolve on the issue. Joe got Barack woke. Others followed. And to him for that I remain most grateful.

As for President Kamala Harris…she was my first choice in 2020…better late than never. I would be proud to call her my President and honestly cannot discern any bits of the job with which I would not trust her discernment.



Anything she might just suck at? Is she likely to select faulty counsel? Wars for money? Embarrass the nation?…must say, from all of the incidents we’ve endured as a nation these past years, the toilet paper one still makes me smile…kinda says it all at the end of the day. No one was concerned or fearless enough to tell him. I refer to that man as the forotus (fistula on the rectum of these United States, of course)…sorry, back to President Harris’ failing the people of this nation? With all the great help around, inheriting a Cabinet? I’ll remain dubious.
