Just flip the ticket? [1]

Here’s an idea I thought of this morning, and after I noted it on Twitter I saw that a couple other people had come up with the same idea.

I’m mostly a fan of keeping Joe in the race at the top of the ticket, but realize there is a good case to be made for replacing him.

But what if we didn’t replace him, but also didn’t put him at the top of the ticket?

Just flip the two and make it a Harris-Biden ticket! It would be a nice compromise where you keep Joe on the ticket and keep his experience and know-how right on the front line, but you deal with the age issue by having a significantly younger Harris heading the ticket.

The two could campaign advertising their ticket as a sort-of co-presidency, with Kamala at the head but Biden being her senior advisor on pretty much everything, and even calling a lot of the shots.
