Maybe a bike race? [1]

I’m struggling to make sense of yesterday’s Supreme Court decision. I had assumed, incorrectly, it now seems, that the Republican justices would not want to give President Biden the kind of sweeping immunity that dictator wannabe Trump wants only for himself. Or were they so brazen as to write that it only applies to Trump and will never apply to Biden?

Suggestions have been made that maybe President Biden should convene a televised military tribunal to try Trump for treason and/or terrorism. Other suggestions are what I will only describe as “irreversible,” to put it mildly.

But maybe President Biden shouldn’t use his newfound power to do anything drastic. Maybe he could call on Seal Team Six to apprehend Trump and… give the bastard a simple haircut that, with as few scissor movements as possible, exposes the fakeness of Trump’s hair positioning.

Or maybe force Trump into a bike race. At the event, give him a tricycle if he can’t get on the bicycle. Or force him into a golf tournament at a public or military golf course, or a private course he does not own. Make Hillary Clinton a referee.

And then maybe later on, President Biden is tried for that and given a slap on the wrist. It would have been worth it if it helped avert a Trump dictatorship.

I’m no lawyer, but with the current Supreme Court, legal ideas don’t have to make constitutional sense anymore.
