Two observations about the Supreme Court decision on presidential immunity [1]

Date: 2024-07-02  

1) Joe Biden is President for another 6 months at least. How can he use his new power to save our democracy? Can he eliminate anti-democratic members of the Supreme Court, for instance? Can he ask his Justice Department to charge Trump with treason for announcing and implementing his plans to steal sovereignty from We the People?

How about, as another Daily Kos member suggested, eliminating the electoral college and giving people the day off to vote?

The possibilities are endless.

2) Donald Trump is NOT currently president of the United States. He should be charged and tried for all the crimes he has committed since he left office- trying to undermine the elected government, suborning and threatening witnesses and judges, tampering with official papers, etc.

The sword can cut two ways.
