The health district plans to offer the services — school-age vaccinations, HPV immunizations and free tests for syphilis and HIV — on the second Wednesdays of June, July and August in its Valley County offices in McCall at 703 First St. Those dates include June 12, July 10 and Aug. 14, the government agency announced in a news release. The school-age vaccinations can help children age 5 and older prepare for summer camp and back-to-school requirements, the release said. Call 208-327-7400 to schedule appointments. Health insurance isn’t required, the release said. But the health district asked patients to bring medical records and insurance, if patients are insured. Appointments aren’t required for HPV immunizations. Throughout the year, Central District Health offers other low-cost or free health programs to qualifying Valley County residents, including telehealth visits, tobacco cessation classes, child oral health programs, the Women, Infants and Children program, and more.
