Montana AG: Six dead following multi-vehicle crash in Hardin – Daily Montanan [1] ['Keith Schubert', 'More From Author', '- July'] Date: 2022-07 Six Montanans have died following a crash involving 10 vehicles in Hardin on Friday. According to a news release sent out by the Montana Attorney General’s office on Monday, the investigation into the pile-up will continue “for days to come,” but so far, it “continues to support that a sudden dust storm caused the incident.” Of the six fatalities, three were minors, with the youngest being three years old, and three were adults. Along with the six fatalities, 11 people were injured, three of whom sustained critical injuries. All of those injured in the crash were transported to Big Horn County Memorial Hospital by ground ambulance since air ambulances were not available due to weather. The most serious injuries were then transported to Billings for more advanced care, according to the AG’s office. In total, 29 individuals were involved. The vehicles involved were from nine U.S. states and one Canadian province.
