Guns, gold, Bitcoin and ATV net $40K in bankruptcy sale by former Sidney pastor – Daily Montanan [1] ['Darrell Ehrlick', 'More From Author', '- August'] Date: 2022-08-02 Guns, gold, bitcoin and an all-terrain vehicle were among the items a bankruptcy trustee sold to net approximately $40,000 in the sale of former Sidney-based Pastor Jordan Daniel Hall. The trustee’s report of the sale, which was filed on July 21, shows that Hall, a former pastor and member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Sidney, sold primarily firearms and ammunition in an effort to clear debt, consisting of attorney’s fees and settlement by a Native American lobbyist damaged in a series of stories which repeatedly falsely that she attacked a Montana state Senator. Hall had twice resigned as the pastor of the congregation. At first, the church refused to accept his resignation after being charged with a firearms violation and driving while under the influence. However, after a June incident at the church, Hall was dismissed and investigated by law enforcement for possible assault of a family member and theft. The church said it decided to accept his resignation the second time because of a previously unknown addiction to prescription medication. Hall had filed for bankruptcy protection just one day before a libel trial was to begin in Great Falls. Hall listed the attorney’s fees plus any possible judgment against him from the trial. Later, a Whitefish credit union also filed a claim against Hall because the Montana Daily Gazette, a publication which Hall owned, had published more than a half dozen untrue articles the credit union said were false. After those articles and interviews were removed from the Montana Daily Gazette, the credit union dropped its legal action. Since then, Hall has been removed from membership in the church. Among the items that were sold and listed as part of the bankruptcy were a 2017 Honda Recon ATV and trailer, 10 gun magazines, 20 guns, including a Glock 19 Generation 5 with a vortex venom scope, 49 boxes of ammunition, a gun safe, two gold bars, seven silver coins, a Bitcoin wallet and 10% ownership stake of Real Montana News, LLC. The bankruptcy documents also indicate Hall was doing business as “Black Robe Rifles.” [END] --- [1] Url: https://dailymontanan.com/2022/08/02/guns-gold-bitcoin-and-atv-net-40k-in-bankruptcy-sale-by-former-sidney-pastor/ Published and (C) by Daily Montanan Content appears here under this condition or license: Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. via Magical.Fish Gopher News Feeds: gopher://magical.fish/1/feeds/news/montanan/
