According to a U.S. Department of Justice press release, Jasper Ryan Rattler, 20, admitted to assault resulting in substantial bodily injury last fall. The prosecution said the assault took place on Feb. 12, 2021, after Rattler had been drinking with the teenage victim during an argument on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, leaving her extremely hurt.
