About the Role The role involves conducting research in transgender health, focusing on the COSMAT Study. Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing data, ensuring ethical compliance, and contributing to research dissemination and stakeholder engagement. Your responsibilities will include: Undertaking research in the Trans Health Research Group Participating in research independently and as a member of a research team Undertaking ethical and governance approvals, participant recruitment, data collection, database management, data analysis, and drafting manuscripts Who We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is a highly organised and motivated researcher with expertise in transgender health, capable of independently managing research activities, ensuring ethical compliance, and effectively communicating with participants, healthcare professionals, and the research team. You will also have: PhD or Masters in relevant area or equivalent degree with significant relevant experience or equivalent combination of training and experience For further information regarding responsibilities and requirements, please refer to the attached PD. This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
