Join this event to hear speakers talk about creating a cross-cultural, cross-institutional network to develop an understanding of, and share best practice on nurturing inclusive and supportive research cultures – part of a joint project with Tohoku University and UCL IOE.

This seminar presents initial findings from the joint project, followed by presentations from and discussion with:

Professor Kazuko Suematsu (Tohoku University)

Professor Lynn Ang (UCL)

Attendees will explore their understanding of 'what works’ in tackling research culture challenges – a crucial topic for all universities and higher education institutions in today’s international research landscape. This will be followed by a Q&A.

This online event will be particularly useful for researchers, professional services staff and senior leaders, and university and research institution management.
