The Khartoum American School (KAS) is an independent, coeducational day school that offers an educational program from preschool (three-year-olds) through grade 12 for students of all nationalities. The school was founded in 1957. The school year is comprised of four quarters of approximately nine weeks each. It extends from the second week of August to the last week of May.
