H20 Summit: “The Future of Global Health Diplomacy in a Changing World” [1] [] Date: 2024-06-19 Under the theme “The Future of Global Health Diplomacy in a Changing World,” the Health 20 (H20) Summit will take place on 19–20 June 2024 at WHO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. The pivotal two-day event will bring together over 150 distinguished guests and feature seven panels. Discussions will focus on the evolving role of global health diplomacy within the G20 and G7. Key topics include sustainable financing for global health, bridging the gap between investment and health communities, and introducing new global health initiatives. The 2024 edition of the H20 Summit will also launch the Global Legislators’ report on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), authored by prominent parliamentarians and experts: former French Health Minister Professor Agnes Buzyn, Zambian National Assembly Member Hon. Dr Christopher Kalila, Dame Angela Eagle and former European Parliament advisor Francis Jacobs. The report will call for a more systematic and common approach in tackling AMR at global and national levels, with a key role for parliamentarians, to ensure that health remains a political priority.
