Join WHO Department of Health Promotion, Physical Activity Unit and Department of NCD, Surveillance, Monitoring and Reporting Unit, for a global webinar on the data and methods behind the new global comparable estimates of physical inactivity. In this webinar, the lead authors will detail the data sources and statistical methods used to develop new estimates of physical inactivity by sex, age, and regions, and for the first time, forecasted estimates on levels of inactivity in 2030. Short presentations will be followed by a panel discussion and opportunity for Q&A. The webinar will explore the methodological challenges and potential future directions of national and global population surveillance of physical inactivity, including the potential future use of data from wearable technologies.
