My phone is dead

It just randomly bricked itself for no reason and went into a boot
loop.

No way to connect to it via USB.

I am making the last desperate attempt of draining its battery, but
I am not optimistic about it.

This exact same thing happened to my mother's phone of the same
brand - Nokia - slightly different model, so I am thinking there is
a pattern and I should get a different phone rather than getting it
fixed.

It's still under warranty, so there won't be any monetary loss,
just a lot of annoyance.
