3d5 Wed Dec 24 19:45:05 CET 2003 First of all, I want to recommend a book to all Gopher diggers and UNIX users/programmers. It is called 'The Art of UNIX Programming', written by Eric S. Raymond (also author of 'The Cathedral and the Bazaar' and 'The Hacker's Dictionary'). The book is about the culture around programming UNIX, the 'rules' by which most UNIX software is written and so on. It is a great read. Never thought I would find it in The Netherlands for sale ;). Today I've been on the road for six hours (with a 2 hour break) to get some terminals for the PCW. Eleven serial terminals. I think we will have a lot of fun with those ;). This night I will start revising the Aerv.nl security policy. Addition to the Gopher: /english/computer/cyberwar/cyberwar an article, found on The WELL Gopher, about cyberwar, written in 1993. 'Cyberwar is Coming!' From now on, you can find a changelog of this gopher in the 001-Updates file in the /geekphlog directory. -Roeland 0
