446 *** Veronica-2 Help: What is VISHNU? VISHNU is the Veronica-Inspired Search of Hierarchical Nodes and Uplinks, a tree-format way of browsing Veronica-2 results. The same results that you get from V-2, are also served by VISHNU. VISHNU, however, pre-groups results so that you can drill down through levels of matches rather than browse a flat list like classic Veronica and Veronica-2. VISHNU will search Veronica-2, and then group results into folders based on their location on their servers, meaning files in the same directory on that server become stored in one virtual VISHNU folder. This allows you to select servers you know to be more valid, or get an idea of the contents of a folder without having to browse it. VISHNU folders are listed with the 'largest' first. By clicking on a folder, you will then bring up the results for browsing. Select from the list, or return to the list of folders, with the appropriate option. VISHNU is still relatively experimental.
