Re: 4/22/88 See the end of the digest for information about deadlists-digest ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Tue, 16 Nov 2004 10:23:31 -0500 From: "McLeod, Iver J" Subject: 8/29/68? The info file for 8/23/68 indicates the first disc is mostly "Unknown Date, thought to be August 29, 1968, Matrix" with the following setlist: 1. St. Stephen (fades in) 2. Cryptical> 3. TOO> 4. Cryptical 5. New Potato Caboose 6. Alligator 7. Caution Jam Deadlists doesn't show any performance on 8/29/68. And according to the search feature the GD never played NPC at any of the Matrix shows (so far as is known). To confuse the issue even further, setlist.com shows a performance at the Carousel on 8/29/68 with a completely different setlist with "Ron Ellner" as the source for the info. So does anybody know why this set is thought to be 8/29/68 Matrix?
