It's interesting how you can get absolutely exhausted from
just riding in the car most of the day... I probably spent
about 4 hours of effective time at work today. the other
half was me just sitting in the car. And here I am, totally
dead. So, nothing new on the page at this point really..

Prahou and I spent several hours tinkering with getting a
guestbook to work, and we did get very close. The server
does run scripts as it should, but it has some quirky 
rules set regarding file permissions. If I set it so the 
server can read and write the script, it then isn't enough to
write to the guestbook text file, no matter what dicrectory
it's placed in. And if I increase the permissions to get
around that, the server then decides those permissions are
too high and simply ignores it instead. 
So what works is a script that runs and writes the 
included timestamp for the message, but the message is
promptly discarded.. I'll have a better look at this in the
future.. but this is all for now!
