The house which you see is the top level, which follows the traditional architecture of the island, but underneath this, there are lava bubble caves, which he converted into a living accommodation. The place certainly worth a visit, although it's a museum dedicated to Manrique himself, so there might be a bit too much of him here and there; that does not take away the value of the unique building and living quarters though.
