pursuing his stolen pickup, missed being shot when another vehicle

Hmm...: The owner of a Tucson gun shop followed a man who stole a 
shotgun from his store. At some point the thief tried to run down the 
armed businessman, who jumped onto the hood of the car for a very brief 
ride. (I think I'd have let him drive off with the shotgun, which is 
what happened anyway.)

S&W Begins Shipments Of M&P Pistols: Smith & Wesson has begun shipping 
the full-size, .40-caliber version of its new Military & Police pistol.
