Dreaming

I had a dream last night, one that really
twisted the knife over the fact that I can't
have kids.

I woke up quietly sobbing because I didn't want
to wake anyone, weighed down both the fact that
I won't ever be a mother with the feeling that
I'm a terrible daughter for abandoning my
parents to their ill health and old age.

I have no real conclusion or point other than
the fact that dreams can be quite cruel.
