Sometimes when they're *actually* out I might try to gauge general impressions, especially with games which can be a bigger financial and especially time investment, but that's about it. I have a coworker who I chat with about this shit on the regular who drives me insane because he'll watch full on, spoiler filled reviews of things (stuff like Red Letter Media) before watching it.
