I have a IIgs with an accelerator, sound card, storage on CF, ethernet...it's a fully featured machine! And all I've done with it so far is play Oregon Trail hahaha pa> Yea - one reason I never got into Amiga RETRO hardware is because of how pa> many models they had; with one Raspberry Pi I get to play with them pa> ALL... Have you heard of the RetroPi project? It's really insane. You use the OG Amiga hardware, custom chips, etc., but the CPU duties are relegated to an emulated 68k core running at high speeds on a Pi CPU daughterboard. It's nuts. Super cool. pa> I'm up yer alley next year as Atari is next on my list. I bought an ST pa> and am looking to thru FujiNet at is and do some upgrading too. Nice! The Atari ST is a fun little machine. I have an STFM that I'm trying to convince JP to snag from me, because I also have an STe that I plan to use for my daily Atari fix :P I /almost/ caved in and got an Atari Falcon but it's not really meant for my purposes, which is retro Atari gaming. It's got compatibility issues with games so not for me. Plus, the STe can evidently work with a PiStorm. So I'll be doing that. :P --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A49 2023/02/26 (Linux/64) * Origin: m O N T E R E Y b B S . c O M (911:1719/0) .
