Back in the mid 90's, I went to a few gatherings for Virtual Pleasures, a Major
BBS running up in the peninsula.  That was the only BBS that I was on that had
gatherings.  Had one or two gatherings in san mateo, and at least one at
Harry's Hoffbrau in santa clara.  My BBS at the time was only one or two lines
and did not have nearly the following that VP had.
