On my BBS, I decided to have no message ¨networks at all - It's a bit of a risky move these days, but it means that the ¨content there is unique to itself. Because my BBS was born in the early 80's ¨before FIDO was widespread, and we never joined after it became popular, we ¨were always a "local" community. (I ran Project BBS back in the early 80's, ¨and I now run the reincarnated Sanctum BBS, now called Sanctum II BBS) I figure that BBS systems will lose and gain popularity as time passes. ¨Everything seems to come back sooner or later, even disco and bellbottoms. :) -Kailef Sanctum II BBS .
