++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ + Back from countryside ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ | Today I visited my parents. They moved almost one week ago to a city named | Contenda, "famous" for its large scale of potatoes production (although my | parents, themselves are not farming anything). | | | The new house is nice. It has a lot of room for both dogs (they own a male | Lhasa Apso and a female Pequinese). The floor tiles are WAY too horribly put | together, but my father already bought wooden/laminate floor. | | | I own a male Labrador Retriever named Rufus. Rufus means "red" in Latin, as red | is its color. | Its inside color, of course. His fur is a mix of yellow and white. He has a bit of | Golden Retriever ascendency, but not THAT much. | | | The funny thing about dogs is that size matters very little. You know, dogs | MUST obey hierarchies -- that's their natural state and confusion about this | subject easily renders them sad -- at best. And the hierarchy stablished | between all the three dogs is a pyramid: my big heavy Labrador obeys the small | Lhasa Apso that obeys the tiny Pequinese. It's a funny thing to see. | | | | Half the way leading to their house comprehends a very beautiful road, with | very neat houses here and there, some farming fields and some livestock, | including horses. | There was one day I was visiting them (they lived in ANOTHER small town until | last week or so) and I saw a very interesting thing: a HORSE, back to the | ground, legs to the air, scrathing its back like a horse, haha! I found that | amazing. | I THINK there was a small dog nearby watching, and it seemed to me they were | friends. But I'm not sure my memory is entirely trustworthy on this. | | | I'm home, now, and very tired. It's almost one hour driving, and, what's worse: | driving my car. I REALLY like my car. It was an amazing tool for me, but I got | to admit: it has its limitations, and one hour drive in Brazillian "highroads" | can be kind of challenging...
