Well, this is all new to me. But I think I like it.

I've never come across pubnix servers before. My experience
with computing didn't really start untill around the
Millennium when we got our first family computer and we
can't have had an internet connetion at our house before
2005/06.

I've been browsing around in gopherspace for about a week
now (after a Hacker News post led me to the spec for
solderpunk's gemini protocol).

And this small internet, that puts textual content before
bling and focuses on small groups having meaningfull
interactions, often at a relaxed pace. Might just be the
antidote to a lot of the things that dissatisfy me about the
modern web ("gotta hustle!").

I'm excited to start contributing to the discussion.
